K started listening to music not long ago but most of the songs he recommended me I can’t appreciate.
The opposite is also true. He doesn’t appreciate the songs I like when I was in my teens. It’s so boring, he said.
Maybe it’s a sign of generation gap. Or something else. I don’t know.
I might sound blunt but I find today’s songs are utter rubbish and lack quality, especially the lyrics. It boggles my mind why such songs could garner great popularity among the listeners. It’s as if your song won’t go far if it doesn’t contain profanity.
Great songs with uplifting words are difficult to come by. Never in a million years would I think that I’d be able to find a song like that.
I was wrong.
To my pleasant surprise, today I came across a song that fit the criteria.
What’s more, the song contains one of the greatest parenting lessons every parent should know. (That’s why I am sharing here)… “In you I see someone special”
Not only that, it also teaches everyone (parents and non-parents as well) the most important secret to happiness… “Don’t go to war with yourself”
If that’s not strong enough to motivate you to stop everything and listen to this song, here’s another reason why you should watch: it is one of the most creative music videos I’ve ever seen.
I believe, as you listen to the song, you’ll be able to find more meaningful messages.
Here you are. The song is called Miracles (Someone Special) by Coldplay and Big Sean.
