I recently come across articles and books talking about harmful-chemicals (cancer-causing chemicals) in our daily used products, including baby shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
The reports highlighted some brands that are widely available in the market today.
Is it true that these manufacturers are only thinking of profits, therefore using the cheaper alternatives as the ingredients, without considering much about its harmfulness?
What is more concerning is that currently there is no law that can prevent them from doing this, because the side-effect does not show immediately, but rather after accumulating for years.
I change my son’s shampoo and body shampoo immediately, because as a parent, I definitely do not want him to be exposed to all these unnecessary risk (that potentially can cause greater harm in the years to come).
Is this an issue to be concerned of, or am I just over-reacting?
