Many folks talk about this restaurant. How can I miss it!
Even though most of us (the adults) were experiencing indigestion due to overeating (maybe I should call this trip food trip rather than road trip), I had no excuses not to try out the famous curry chicken at Restoran Ratha.
Even Sultan Pahang patronized this eatery… as you can see from the pictures hung on the wall.
You won’t miss this Indian restaurant as it has a bright red wall (it is a corner shop) which you can see clearly if you come from Bentong.
We ordered chicken curry, fried fish, and roti telur for the kids.
The restaurant is also famous for its fish head curry. We didn’t order as we were not fit to eat and also the serving might be too big for us.
I found the Chinese style chicken curry and fried fish too salty. Roti telur was excellent as I noticed J and K enjoyed it until the last bits. Overall, the food is above average.
If you want to bring home and prepare yourself the curry, there are packets of curry paste available for sale too.
When I paid the bill I thought it would cost me a bomb due to its popularity. To my surprise, the prices were highly reasonable.
